Getting to Aboyne

Aboyne is located on the A93 approx 35 miles west of Aberdeen. Aboyne sits between Banchory 12 miles to the east and Ballater 12 miles to the west. It is a pretty village situated around a large green where the Highland Games are held the first weekend in August. The Stagecoach bus service runs Aberdeen - Aboyne - Braemar and in the summer extends to Perth, Tomintoul and Strathdon as the Heather Hopper.
